Upcoming timeline and what to expect
Friday, October 3, 2025 at 9:00 PM ET Product changes will begin deploying to your NetSuite environment.
Mid-October 2025 Field labels that previously referenced “SquareWorks” or “Automate” will be updated to “Charted” (see below). Our SuiteApp marketplace listings will also be updated to reflect the new name.
Ongoing Additional user experience improvements will roll out in the coming months, based on customer feedback and our product roadmap.
Field label changes: What you need to know
Starting in mid-October, you’ll notice field names in NetSuite changing from references like “Automate Check Number” to “Charted Check Number.” We’re timing this after the start of Q4 to minimize any impact during your month-end close processes.
For most users: No action required. These are cosmetic label changes only.
If you export data from NetSuite: Field headers in your exports may reflect the new names. Any automated reporting or data integrations that rely on specific field names should be reviewed and updated accordingly.
Frequently asked questions
Will there be any downtime? The October 3 product update will involve a brief cutover that evening, during which you can continue working normally.
Do I need to update any bookmarks or saved links? Links to squareworks.com will automatically redirect to charted.com. Similarly, emails sent to squareworks.com addresses (including support) will continue to reach the right teams as they redirect to our new charted.com addresses.
Will my reporting break? Current reporting will continue to work. In mid-October, field labels referencing “SquareWorks” or “Automate” will change to “Charted”; underlying field IDs remain the same.
